The Illinois Association of Law Enforcement Executives is committed to providing opportunities for the professional training and advancement of current and retired law enforcement supervisors, leaders and managers and to provide access to mentors and colleagues for the purpose of enhancing the profession. The Illinois Association of Law Enforcement Executives in partnership with Aftermath Inc.are pleased to announce the development of a training program designed to fulfill the annual mandatory training requirements for law enforcement personnel who deal with the hazards of bloodborne pathogens as outlined in 29 CFR 1910, 1030 (b) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act. The program is provided FREE of cost, and is designed to be delivered at local law enforcement agencies, sheriff’s offices and correctional facilities. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Brotherhood for the Fallen is a non-for-profit organization of Chicago Police Officers of various ranks committed to attending the services of murdered police officers across all 50 states and to give support to the family, their police department and their community. Since being recognized by the United States Government as a certified 501(C)-3 not-for-profit organization in March 2010, the Brotherhood for the Fallen has been deployed to 23 states to honor 48 American Law Enforcement Heroes and provide their families with financial and emotional support. The New York State Association of Chiefs of Police was organized on November 30, 1901, in Rochester, New York and incorporated in 1957. It is a not for profit organization dedicated to serve the people of the State of New York in the maintenance of law and order and to support the more than 500 Chiefs of Police as they carry out the functions of their office. The primary objective of the Association is to achieve professional recognition, uniformity of operation and the advancement of the general welfare of the police profession through the education of its members. The primary purpose of the Association is an educational one; to gather, disseminate, and promote useful and necessary information to the law enforcement agencies of the State of New York. Our ultimate aim and purpose is to develop a more efficient and effective law enforcement and criminal justice system.
